USA Volleyball et adidas ont annoncé aujourd’hui la conclusion d’un accord pluri-annuel qui permettra à l’entreprise allemande, qui a son siège américain à Portland, dans l’Oregon, de devenir l’équipementier officiel (chaussures, textile, accessoire) de l’équipe des Etats-Unis de Volley-ball.

«Ce que j’aime le plus au sujet du volleyball des États-Unis, c’est la passion de l’organisation pour le jeu et son dévouement à rendre le sport plus accessible pour tous», a déclaré Mark King, président d’adidas North America. « Les équipes nationales offrent un grand sentiment de fierté et d’énergie. Toutes les équipes de volleyball des États-Unis seront équipées de produits adidas de la tête aux pieds, pour les matchs, les voyages et la formation, comprenant bien évidemment des produits performance et des vêtements lifestyle. Les équipes féminines de volleyball des États-Unis présenteront la nouvelle collection unifiée adidas Climalite® miTeam et CRAZYFLIGHT X avec BOOST lors d’une variété d’événements tout au long de l’année. En plus de fournir aux équipes de volleyball des États-Unis l’équipement le plus récent et le plus novateur conçu pour la performance d’élite, adidas collaborera avec le volleyball américain sur les activations marketing dans les événements de base, y compris les championnats nationaux de volleyball Open aux États-Unis pour les adultes, les championnats nationaux juniors de volleyball aux filles, Championnats nationaux juniors de volleyball des États-Unis, Championnats américains de volleyball Beach et championnats américains de volleyball.
 
De plus, adidas a signé un partenariat pluriannuel avec Lauren Carlini, qui deviendra le nouveau visage du volley adidas, jouera un rôle de premier plan dans les campagnes de marketing de marque adidas et collaborera avec la marque sur les futurs produits footwear, textile et accessoires de volley-ball.

Médaillée d’or de la Coupe Panaméricaine en 2017 et Médaille de Bronze lors de l’édition 2016, Lauren Carlini est l’une des grandes volleyeuses américaine, ayant aussi à son actif quatre victoires de la Coupe All-Big Ten.


  En France, adidas soutient la star de l’équipe de France, le réceptionneur-attaquant, Earvin N’Gapeth.
