« Forever Blue », le nouveau maillot de Chelsea par adidas

Suite au match de Ligue des Champions contre le Paris Saint-Germain, adidas dévoile aujourd’hui le nouveau maillot domicile de la saison 2014/15 de ChelseaLe lancement est accompagné d’une nouvelle campagne , « Forever Blue » , mettant en vedette une vidéo étonnante dans laquelle cinq joueurs de Chelsea sont capturés dans leur action de jeu préféré et immortalisés dans des sculptures uniques .

Compté par le manager de l’équipe, José Mourinho, la vidéo fait référence aux célébrations, buts et sauvetages qui sont restés gravés dans la mémoire du club, qu’il s’agisse de l’arrêt de Petr Cech face à Bastian Schweinsteiger du Bayern Munich, en finale de la Ligue des Champions 2012, de la célébration du premier but de Torres face à Benfica en finale de l’Europa League la saison dernière, de la volée de Cahill contre les Spurs ou du but extraordinaire d’Oscar contre la Juventus ou encore plus récemment du  hat-trick de Eden Hazard contre Newcastle en Premier League .

La campagne, qui fait suite à la mémorable campagne de l’année dernière « It’s Blue. What else matters », voit les joueurs se libérer des sculptures figeant leurs actions mémorables et révéler le nouvaeu maillot pour la saison 2014/15, prêts à créer d’autres moments uniques, des moments « Forever Blue ».

Le nouveau maillot est conçu en utilisant l’ingénierie tissu montrant contraste des tons de bleu sur le panneau avant , y compris un design bicolore à rayures , et inclut les dernières technologies prime adidas comme le matériau respirant leader de l’industrie aussi – ClimaCool . Le design s’inspire de kits de club à la fin des années 1980 et au début des années 1990.

Ron Gourlay, Directeur Général de Chelsea FC a déclaré : « Nous sommes très fiers d’avoir encore une fois travaillé avec adidas pour livrer une campagne de lancement hors du commun pour notre nouveau maillot domicile pour la saison 2014/15 . Le thème créatif de « Forever Blue » et la capture de ces moments mémorables qui vivront dans l’esprit de nos joueurs et les fans est une excellente façon de donner vie à notre maillot. »

Petr Cech a ajouté : « Les joueurs aiment tous être impliqués dans ces campagnes et l’idée d’être « Forever Blue » est quelque chose que tout le monde au club peut se sentir proches, comme nous avons tous nos propres souvenirs uniques de nos carrières. Je sais que mon moment de la finale de la Ligue des Champions va rester avec moi pour toujours et je suis très heureux de voir que ma sculpture va m’aider à partager ce moment avec les fans. »

Le Directeur de la marque adidas, Nick Craggs, s’est aussi exprimé sur ce lancement de maillot: « Chelsea Football Club est ancré dans l’histoire. L’histoire est faite de chaque but, passe décisif, tacle et clean sheet. Les joueurs du club écrivent leur histoire chaque week-end de la Premier League, chaque semaine. En travaillant avec les joueurs et en identifiant les moments clés des dernières années du club sous le maillot adidas, nous avons réussi à créer une campagne convaincante et engageante qui restera avec le club pour toujours. »
